Who We Are

The Institute of Equality and Diversity Practitioners is the professional body of equality, diversity and human rights practitioners. It is an independent body, run by practitioners for practitioners.

The Institute promotes excellence in professional practice across our sector. Through learning and accreditation programmes, the Institute is developing national practice and professional standards for our sector.

Why We Are Here

The Institute aims to be the organisation of choice for equality, diversity and human rights practitioners. We support our members to develop and maintain excellent professional practice.

Practitioners include full time specialist professionals, managers with an equalities portfolio that is part of their main tasks and unpaid volunteers who advise public, private and third sector businesses on delivering equality outcomes.
